Q&A: How do I connect my laptop to my home computer with no router?|home router

Is that possible? I have a crumb cable that I used at school to connect to my school’s network in my dorm. Can I use that to connect my laptop to my home computer? Or do I have to buy a router like supplies keep telling me?

I just want to be able to access the Internet from my laptop at home cause I don’t have wireless at home

Answer by StonedGorilla
You can just use a USB or an ethernet cable.

Am by a Linksys router at home with 1 desktop and 2 laptops. I surf many websites but the ONLY time I lose the connection is when in my Yahoo Mail. Only way to recover is to system the potential on Linksys Router.
