I am moving to a home without wifi/router, how can I connect my laptop?|home router

I am moving to a home that isn’t mine to exchange nearly without wifi or a router. I judge there are things you can pay for to connect to the USB port&keep your laptop connected when it needs to be. I was wondering if anyone knows how to do that or what it’s called. I’ll pay for no matter what I need to, I just need a connection!

That sounds like a cell buzz wireless circumstances — assuming the new place isn’t also in a diffident monumental area with poor cell buzz greeting. I don’t know what those packages go for, even if.

Hope that helps.

Contact your cell buzz companionship. They can provide you with a USB access dongle, and probably have some kind of data package they can add to your current tab. These aren’t low-cost, even if.

Do you have to buy $ 100 wifi adapter for Xbox 360 if you already have a Wifi router at home? Like if you have a Linksys, do you also need a 100 dollar adapter to receive the signal?

Answer by vegeta7_99
the 360 wont receive wireless signal without the adapter.

Answer by unsystematic person
Your xbox wont know there is a signal without that adapter but you may see if your buzz companionship can bed in/run another line for your xbox for cheaper

hey, here’s a tip dont get the wireless adapter its the largest waste of cash ever. all you need to do is get the internet cable which came with the xbox and connect it into one of the slots behind your router. Thats what I did and it works really fine. Oh and if your cable isn’t long enough go buy one for 5$ and you will save loads of cash. that wifi adapter is a waste of cash.

If you want to connect to XBOX Live wirelessly you do.

Answer by Black Diamond
You only need it if you want to really connect to Live. ;-)

It is a rip off having to pay that much for something they must have included in the 360 but there is no way nearly it. If Nintendo can add WiFi in the DS there is no reason not to include it in the 360 other than trying to get more cash out of you.

Belkin N1 Thought wireless router

Here are the unboxing pics, as well as some proceedings shots, of the sexy Belkin N1 Thought wireless router.

I got the Belkin N1 Thought as a replacement for my dull (even if honestly dependable) ZyXEL MIMO router.

In all, it looks excellent, but the WEP security background is incompatible with my MacBook Pro and unstable with some Windows XP laptops in the home. Switching it to WPA1 (not WPA2) makes is more well-matched.

It feels excellent to be able to see what’s going on through the network. Finally considering the invisible!
