Q&A: Does a home router store history my internet activities/history? How can I stop it from recording my history?|home router

Is my privacy in jeopardy?
is there anyway for me to stop this?
I am currently using Firefox
Router: SBC 2wire (DSL)
Can that information be accessed?

Your router does have a history page for inbound and outbound traffic, whether or not you can delete it depends on your given router, probably not.

Here are the unboxing pics, as well as some action shots, of the sexy Belkin N1 Vision wireless router.

I got the Belkin N1 Vision as a replacement for my boring (though fairly dependable) ZyXEL MIMO router.

In all, it looks good, but the WEP security setting is incompatible with my MacBook Pro and unstable with some Windows XP laptops in the home. Switching it to WPA1 (not WPA2) makes is more compatible.

It feels good to be able to see what’s going on through the network. Finally seeing the invisible!
